Elevating youth to new heights

Elevated Grounds

Based in the Steeles-L'Amoreaux community, Elevated Grounds provides underserved youth from across the GTA with access to performing arts training and supports. With YCF funding, Elevated Grounds expanded a summer camp into a year-round training and mentorship program in music production, vocal, visual arts, dance, public relations, art and acting. The program has grown from 14 members to engage over 135 youth and 150 family members. In 2007, two participants received $2,000 scholarships from the City of Toronto to pursue arts education.
