YCF connects youth leaders with Management Advisory Services

On December 15, 2009, YCF convened an orientation session at the Wellesley Community Centre for the leaders of our funded initiatives, their trustee organizations and partners to meet with volunteer consultants from Management Advisory Services (MAS).
Free Access to TDSB space through Priority Schools Initiative

September 17, 2009 – Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty and United Way Toronto’s Frances Lankin joined Youth Challenge Fund Chair and Toronto Argonauts CEO Michael ‘Pinball’ Clemons last night at a special reception at Queen’s Park, honouring individuals and members of the private sector who have supported the work of YCF and helped build young leaders in the city’s 13 priority neighbourhoods.
Dorset Park Youth Council launches sports pad

Youth Challenge Fund announces $46.6M in total investment for Toronto youth

May 7, 2009 – Toronto’s Youth Challenge Fund (YCF) today announced its last round of funding, bringing the total investment to $46.6 million for 111 initiatives led by youth in Toronto’s priority neighbourhoods. This final round of funding, providing $27.6 million for 17 initiatives, aims to leave a lasting legacy in the community, ensuring the work of YCF lives on through the physical spaces created, and through the partnerships established between youth and community organizations across the city.
Youth Challenge Fund launches $1.4 million "Team Up For Youth" partnership with Toronto's professional sports teams

Toronto’s four major league sports teams - the Blue Jays, Argonauts, Maple Leafs and Raptors - joined together on September 25, 2008 at Rogers Centre to launch ‘Team Up For Youth’ — a partnership among the teams’ charitable arms and the Youth Challenge Fund.
YCF announces $4.8 million in investments for Toronto youth

On August 5, 2008, YCF announced fifth-round funding, providing $4.8 million for six youth-led initiatives across Toronto’s 13 priority neighbourhoods. The funding will support initiatives that provide sustainable opportunities for underserved youth through unique collaborative partnerships including large public institutions as well as grassroots organizations.
