Literature for Life's Yo' Mama Magazine is a youth leadership, economic and community development project. Written by young mothers, for young mothers, the magazine builds the capacities and abilities of youth, engaging young mothers as both contributors and readers. The project is driven by, and responds to, the interests and needs of its readers and contributors by addressing issues that affect its participants, such as: parenting, health, violence, mental health, self-esteem and sexuality.
