The SPOT: Where YOU(th) Wanna Be

The SPOT is a youth-designated space in the Jane-Finch area. The initiative staff engaged local youth to participate in the space development process. YCF funding went towards furnishing the space and equipment based on what youth identified as important elements for a youth-designated space, such as computers.

The SPOT now serves as a site for collaborative programming within the Jane-Finch community. YCF funded initiatives such as BADC and Project CANOE have made use of The SPOT to facilitate programming with local youth.
