Frontlines

The initiative focuses on building the capacity of local young men, primarily young fathers, to engage community stakeholders in the renovation of the Frontlines facility. A hired coordinator trained youth to support the community engagement process. Participants received an honorarium for their participation.

A core group of nine young men benefitted from the strong relationships that developed between participants and the staff. The opportunity to engage with community partners gave participants an opportunity to build soft skills and positively contribute to their community.
